WNBA star Sophie Cunningham surprised fans by kicking off her shoes and walking into the Octagon as a UFC ring girl at UFC 329.
Dana White says the WNBA star’s ringside cameo came together just eight minutes before she walked out.
“We’ve created a relationship, and she was here tonight,” White said. “When she walked in, she goes, ‘Oh, I wanna walk around that.’ I said, ‘Then you’re gonna walk around it.'”
Cunningham’s cameo came just hours before she was due back on the court with the Fever for their game against the Las Vegas Aces.
